Topic: READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING!
We are a casual/hardcore raiding guild. We raid Tues, Wed, and Sun 6pm to ~ 9:30 pm Server Time on US Kel'Thuzad. We require our members to show to at least 2 raids a week. If you are going to miss more then a few days of raiding, you must notify an officer in advance. This is so we know you haven't died.
We have cleared 6/12 ICC25 so look up the fights if you haven't experienced them yourself. Youtube, warcraftmovies.com, tankspot.com, and mmo-champion exist for a reason. If you don't know a fight, it is your responsibility to be critical and figure out what your class needs to be doing. Your job will specifically be hammered out when we are at the boss.
You MUST come prepared for raids: not in PvP Spec, fully repaired, and with appropriate flasks and food. There are numerous potion and elixir masters in the guild. It is your responsibility to find out who they are and have them make you pots before the raid. The excuse that "No one was willing to craft them" will not work. It is your responsibility. Don't be that guy.
We are a highly critical guild. We love to 1 shot every boss and end the night early with loot for everyone. If you are holding us back by screwing up, you must be able to take criticism and you must be willing to learn. Don't take it personally, everyone gets ragged on. Learning is part of becoming a better WoW player, and we all have room for improvement.
If you are looking for guild that likes to clear the end content but have fun then this guild is what you want. To get in you need to do two things. First, finish reading this sticky. Secondly, to prove you have read this, answer "Yes, I am Australian" when prompted. It speaks volumes for potential applicants to be able to follow directions, and things as subtle as this, in this huge block of text may mean your acceptation or rejection from this guild.
Loot Rules
The loot for this guild is given on officer merit. Many factors are taken into account, such as dedication, skill, recent loot received, class, current item, wanted loot, spec, etc. It is the responsibility of the player to let an officer know that they want a certain piece of loot.
Trial members only get loot if it is going to be DE'd. Even if you are very good, it will still be some time before you get the phat lewtz you want. Dedication goes a long way with this guild. Missing 2-3 raids can, and most likely will, put you out of loot candidacy. Loot is most readily given to those who are skilled, excel in their class spec, have excellent raid attendance and calendar skills, and who have been with the guild for longer periods of time.
Finally, as a last test that you've read/understand/agree with this post, please log out in your PVE gear. People logging out in their PVP gear will be thoroughly abused.
